Well today was hair washing day so I took the opportunity to make another hair how-to!
In this post ill go over the steps to give yourself loose beachy curls. The thing I love about this particular style is that most of the time it looks even better on day 2!! Give this one a shot, i think it will surprise you with how easy it is!!
1. The first thing you are going to do is section. For this style you will use 3 sections of hair. So to begin divide out your first section.
2. Now separate your first section in half and bring it to the front on each side. Taking about a 2 inch section of hair curl the hair away from your face using a 1" curling iron. Leave a tail of hair out of the iron, about 1.5 inches. And only curl until you are a few inches from your scalp.
Tip: It is important to curl away from your face from front to middle back.
3. Once section is completely curled section out section #2.
4. Continue to curl using two inch sections the same as you have done in the first.
Tip: comb each section of hair before curling and spray with a light hold hairspray (I use Sebastian Shaper) or a setting mist.
5. Top section: do exactly as you did for previous sections.
6. When you are complete your hair should look like a bunch of ringlets, somewhat resembling Shirley Temple. Don't be afraid!
7. Now run your fingers through your hair, you can use a texturizing spray or a light hairspray again to rough up the curls a little bit.
8. Don't be afraid to really go through it. You want to separate the curls so you don't see the ringlets anymore.
Tip: if you are like me and can't stand your hair hanging on your face, a cute option for this style is to twist back a section from the front and secure with bobby pins low on the back of your head.
That's it!!
Hope you enjoyed this one!
Xoxo
